Tenafly Police Arrest Child Luring Suspect

TENAFLY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - Authorities think they've got their man after a pair of luring incidents had the neighborhood on high alert.

Michael Pezzatti, 20, of New Milford was arrested a few hours after Cresskill police released a sketch of the suspect.

Police allege Pezzatti tried to lure a teenage girl into his car with the promise of money for a modeling job. Pezzatti allegedly followed the girl and kept persisting until she became frightened and ran home.

Pezzatti is charged with two counts of luring a child into a motor vehicle. Authorities say they are considering additional charges.

Pezzatti was arrested after being stopped by a police officer who realized he fit the description of the suspect. Police snapped his picture, and then showed the picture to the victims as part of a "photo line up." They both selected Pezzatti, police said.

He was arrested shortly thereafter.
