Cub Scout Pack 370 pack master Kurt Nilsen says everyone, from the 10-year-old scouts to the adults, are very upset that the troop's trailer was stolen.
He talked about his son's reaction.
"It took him like two days for it to really sink in," Nilsen said of his son's reaction. "He's graduating next month. All the stuff that we use for the graduation is gone."
Nilsen said 42 years of banners, flags, ribbons, and other memories were in the 8 foot by 10 foot grey colored trailer.
It was parked in Islip at the Marconi Manor catering hall.
Nilsen said they just want the memories back.
