The West 68th Street restaurant, which opened Wednesday night, is owned by the singer's parents – Cynthia and Joe Germanotta.

The restaurant is named after Lady Gaga's aunt, a painter and poet, who died of Lupus at 19.

Lady Gaga credits her aunt with inspiring her to be an artist.

The restaurant will feature dishes Lady Gaga grew up on – including Six-Layer Lasagna, Papa Joe's Chicken, and Joanne's Meatballs and Spaghetti with Sunday Gravy.

Art Smith, who used to be Oprah Winfrey's private chef, will be running the kitchen.
