Sen. Lautenberg Makes Super Bowl Bet With Sen. Kerry

"He offered a Boston Cream Pie, but we offered something from Carlo's Bakery, which is really a specialty," said Lautenberg on Friday.

Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken is the home of the reality show "Cake Boss."

"I am very confident about this bet. I'm excited about this bet," said Lisa Valastro, one of the family owner and the Cake Boss's sister. "Who made the bet? We're going to win this!"

But customer Jim from Syracuse wonders about a cake from the Cake Boss put up against a Boston Cream Pie.

"I don't know that that's a fair if that's a fair wager for only a Boston Cream Pie," he said.

If the Giants win, will Lautenberg eat some pie?

"Sure," said Lautenberg.

He says he'll give his staff the rest.

"We work hard, but we eat fast," added Lautenberg.
