iPhone users will show up at Apple Stores here in the New York City area and around the globe to demand better protections for workers.

The Apple customers delivering the petitions to Grand Central and elsewhere around he world say they want the company to use it's motto of "Think Different" when it comes to protecting its workers.

"I'm calling you right now from an iPhone. People love Apple. They've got great products, really durable, really ahead of the market. What they want is for Apple to be better," Sarah Ryan of change.org.

Apple users began the petition drive following reports of worker deaths, child labor, and exposure to neurotoxins at Apple supplier factories in China.

"We really want Apple to keep creating these awesome products, but create them at the price of workers' lives in China," Ryan told WCBS 880 reporter Marla Diamond.

A quarter million users have signed on.

Apple has not commented on the petition drive or its labor practices.
