No Charges In Sen Grisanti Casino Scuffle
NEW YORK (AP) -- Authorities say no charges will be filed following a casino scuffle involving New York state Sen. Mark Grisanti two weeks ago.
The Niagara County district attorney and Niagara Falls police issued a statement Friday saying they made the determination after reviewing video and talking to witnesses and those involved in the Feb. 10 incident at the Seneca Niagara Casino.
Grisanti and his wife Maria had said they wanted to pursue charges, saying they were attacked and that Maria suffered a concussion after Grisanti tried to mediate an argument.
The men and women he accused say Grisanti was the aggressor.
The district attorney and police say the case is closed.
