Stevens Institute Of Technology Student Found Dead In Dorm Room

HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Officials are investigating the death of New Jersey college student whose body was found inside a dorm room.

A spokeswoman for Stevens Institute of Technology says the body of Mark Testa was found around 3 p.m. Monday in Palmer Hall, which is located on the school's campus in Hoboken.

The school says the cause of death has not been determined, but there were no signs of violence or a struggle. Testa's age and hometown were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.

Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio says the death was initially classified as "suspicious'' only because the student was found alone.

University officials moved students temporarily to another dorm.
