Suffolk County Police ID Body Found In Burning Car

NISSEQUOGUE, NY (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Suffolk County are investigation after a body was found inside a burning car in Nissequogue.

Police identified the body as 45-year-old Lauren Fontana of Middle Island.

Investigators say just before noon on March 6, someone called 911 to report a car fire in a parking lot on Short Beach Road in Nissequogue.

Once firefighters put out the blaze, police say they found Fontana's body inside the car.
