Keefe To The City: Yankees Chat With Joe Auriemma

Opening Day is just two weeks away. Two weeks! It wasn't that long ago that the Yankees' rotation included A.J. Burnett, and now it boasts Michael Pineda and Hiroki Kuroda and Andy Pettitte.

After getting surprising and sometimes dominant starts from Freddy Garcia and Bartolo Colon in 2011, the Yankees now have constructed one of the best rotations in the game with seven real starters for only five spots. And with Joe Girardi learning his lesson last year by tinkering with CC Sabathia and a six-man rotation, the Yankees aren't about to experiment with it again. So that means someone will be the odd man out once Pettitte is ready to join the rotation in May.

Joe Auriemma of YESNetwork.com joined me to talk about Andy Pettitte's return, the potential last season for Mariano Rivera and what to expect from the Yankees in 2012.
