Knicks' Jared Jeffries To Reportedly Have MRI, Miss Next Two Games

NEW YORK (WFAN) - Knicks forward Jared Jeffries will miss Friday night's game against the Raptors and Saturday night's game against the Pistons, according to Newsday.

The paper says that the 30-year-old is scheduled to have an MRI on his knee on Saturday morning.

Jeffries, valued as a quality post defender off the bench, aggravated his injury in the Knicks' win over the 76ers on Wednesday.

Rookie Josh Harrellson and seven-footer Jerome Jordan are likely candidates to take Jeffries' minutes this weekend.

The Indiana University alum is averaging 4.7 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game in 20.3 minutes per game this season.

Does the Knicks' defense take a major hit without Jeffries on the floor? Let us know...
