Police Search For Suspect In Livery Cab Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a livery cab robbery.

Police say the suspect was picked up the cab in Queens around 10 p.m. Tuesday and asked to go to 200 E. 36th Street in Manhattan, but once at the location, forced his victim out of the vehicle at knifepoint.

The suspect allegedly stole money from his victim, a 26-year-old Hispanic man, before fleeing the scene.

The victim was not injured.

Police say the suspect is a male with star tattoos on both of his elbows.
