More than 200 members of the press attended Tim Tebow's introduction on Monday. Maybe because they've never seen eternal salvation in a coat and tie.
The backup quarterback talked a little about his religious background and the Tebowing phenomenon it spawned. Hey, maybe he could transform the Jets' dysfunctional locker room by turning whines into wins.
What made the press conference so unique, so unusual: it was the first one anyone could remember where a player didn't have to apologize for anything.
Imagine that!
He was excited to be in New York. So excited to be a Jet, he was excited to be excited.
If we can give peace a chance, why not Tebow?
