Search Continues For Missing Bronx Boy

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Neighbors helped spread the word Saturday about a missing 12-year-old Bronxwood boy.

"Just come back. That's all I want, is for him to come back," said Ana Carvajal, mother of Arron Ferrera.

Ferrera, described by his mother as smart, responsible and obedient,  was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Friday leaving his school, P.S. 89 on Mace Avenue.

"He knows my number, his grandmother's number," Carvajal told CBS 2's Dave Carlin. "That's why I'm very worried. I'm so scared. I feel like something happened to him."

"I hope he's all right and they find him as soon as possible," one resident said.

Ferrera is 4'8" and weighs 127 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green polo shirt, black sweat pants, brown sweater and white sneakers.

"I just want him back home," said Carvajal.
