One commuter told 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria that if the Transit Authority thinks that's the best way to do it, then so be it. But what he's upset about is how the Transit Authority is notifying people.

There's only a very small sign in the subway booth window.

"Do you think I'm really just looking at this little sign here? I buy a monthly so I don't even come to the booth," he told D'Auria.

The Transit Authority says it will make track repairs 24 hours a day until the 16th.
