B&C Morning Show: Virtual 'Boomer' Voices Approval, Suzyn Catches A Chill And Prokhorov Issues A Challenge

Before Jerry Recco delivered his first update of the morning, we got a welcomed visit from virtual 'Boomer' as he 'voiced' his approval (with some help from 'the' Eddie Scozzare). It was all for today's 'Attention Grabber,' a seductive lookin' gal named Lauren -- helloooo!

Then we were treated to a very entertaining update, which began with the story surrounding the Yankees' 5-4, 12 inning victory over the Orioles.  John Sterling's radio partner Suzyn Waldman was on the field following the Yankees' triumph in Baltimore, where she caught a chill -- a teeth-chattering chill at that.

The Mets' winning ways were halted last night at Citi Field by the Nationals to the tune of 6-2.  David Wright missed the game with a fracture in his right pinkie and Jerry provided audio of radio legend - and WFAN's own - Steve Somers talking about the only wood Wright will be touching in the immediate future.  Craig voiced his concern with Wright not being able to properly clean himself after going to the bathroom.

Plus, Marlins suspend Ozzie Guillen for 5 games after his controversial remarks about Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. He will be replaced by Joey Cora.  The Knicks lost to the Bulls in Chicago 98-86 and now face a huge test tonight in Milwaukee against the Bucks.  Over in Jersey, on the court - despite winning 6 of their last 9 going into the game - last night's 107-88 loss to the Sixers officially eliminated the Nets from the playoff picture.  Off the court Mikhail Prokhorov reminded everyone that Deron Williams is still a Net, before jokingly threatening to kick Mark Cuban in the face...
