Woody Johnson Hires Neil Glat To Be Jets' Team President

NEW YORK (WFAN) - The search has come to an end.

Jets chairman and CEO Woody Johnson announced on Wednesday that the Jets have hired Neil Glat to be Gang Green's new president. Glat was previously the NFL's senior vice president of corporate development.

Glat grew up in Westchester County, and has had two different tenures with the NFL's league office. The executive has a vast array of experience, working in everything from ticketing to apparel to video games to media.

He even has a special connection to the Jets, as he was very much involved in the building of MetLife Stadium.

Johnson had been searching for a new president ever since Matt Higgins, the former executive vice president of business operations, left the team in January after spending eight years with the franchise.
