Gramercy Park Resident Posts Angry Note Around Town Regarding Dog Poo

Someone is letting their dog defecate around town and in flower boxes, and at least one resident is doggone tired of it.

So fed up, in fact, that someone wrote a note and plastered it all around the block, 1010 WINS' Sonia Rincon reported.

The note reads: To the person who doesn't clean up after your dog (including lifting him to put into the tree boxes). You give all of your fellow dog owners a bad name. It's against the law! So here's the deal. We know who you are and where you live. Keep it up and your name will be plastered all around Gramercy Park.

The notes are posted on every flowed bed in town and are generating mixed reviews from residents.

"It's really dirty and it needs to be handled, and I think it's really good when the community steps forth and says we're going to expose you," a woman named Robin told Rincon.

Dog walker Kristen told Rincon she could understand the frustration but added, "They should confront the offender head on. I think this a cowardly way to do it."

However, when asked what she did when she first saw the notes, Kristen said, "I laughed. I laughed heartily."

Do you think the notes are passive aggressive or much-needed? Sound off below.
