Enterprise's Trip To New York City On Hold Due To Rainy Forecast

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The planned trip to New York City for the space shuttle Enterprise is on hold.

A forecast for rainy weather in the northeast is causing the delay. The shuttle was scheduled to fly to New York on Monday, to come to its new home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.

Officials removed several planes from the Intrepid this week to make room for the Enterprise.

There is no word on when the shuttle will make its way up to New York.
