Somers' Monologue: Silver Lining After Mets' Double-Double Disasters

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- As everybody knows, the Mets came into Tuesday night's game after a double disaster against San Francisco on Monday.

Then there was the double dose of bad news with the injuries to Mike Pelfrey and Jason Bay.

So a win over Ozzie Guillen and Jose Reyes you'd have to say was a silver lining. A little sunshine breaking through the dark clouds that always seem to follow the Mets around.

Duda! Duda!

You say it twice, because Lucas Duda walked around the bases for the tie -- and drove home the winner in the eighth inning. Everyone driving home listening to the Happy Recap!

The Mets win as much as they survive -- not only other teams, but sometimes even themselves.
