B&C Morning Show: Amar'e Gets Heated Following Game 2 Loss

There were a couple of Game 2s last night that had the attention of New Yorkers.  The first attention-garnering Game 2 took place at Madison Square Garden between the Washington Capitals and the Rangers, a game Boomer was in the building to see.

Despite the 3-2 Rangers loss, Boomer was in pretty good spirits, describing the action on the ice as 'an entertaining brand of hockey' that came down to a couple of mistakes.  The Blonde Bomber went on to say it was an 'exciting, well-played, intense game' and that he is looking forward to Game 3 tomorrow night in Washington.

The other Game 2 took place in South Beach and as many expected, the Heat took a commanding 2-0 lead with a 104-94 win over the Knicks.  Unfortunately it's what happened following the game that became today's clear-cut top story, as Amar'e Stoudemire took out his postgame frustration on a fire extinguisher that was cased in glass and appears to be out for how ever long the Knicks current 'postseason run' continues.

Craig referred to Stoudemire as 'the biggest idiot in New York' and scoffed at Boomer when he suggested that a combination of both on- and off-court problems could have contributed to the forward's temporary lapse of judgment.  Craig called what Stoudemire did 'unacceptable' and wasn't buying any excuses.

Boomer also wondered aloud if Stoudemire's frustration stemmed from the Game 2 loss or his increasingly diminished role with the Knicks?
