Missing Brother And Sister From Brownsville Found Safe And Sound In Neighbor's House

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Two children -- a brother and sister -- from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn have been found safe after they were announced missing on Saturday morning.

Prior to being found, William and Marianna Caldelario were last seen leaving their house on Friday at around 5:30 with an unidentified woman. It turns out that the unidentified woman was a neighbor who took the kids to her house when she found them home alone, police said.

According to authorities, the neighbor alerted police that the kids were at her house when she heard that the children were reported missing. No charges will be filed against the neighbor, the NYPD said, and at the moment the mother of the children is not being charged.
