
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for a suspect they said punched an elderly woman in the head before taking her pocketbook in Brooklyn.
The incident happened on Wednesday around 8 p.m. near Saratoga Avenue in Bushwick, authorities said.

The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital in stable condition.

He was last seen wearing a blue coat, black cap, dark-colored pants with two white stripes down the sides, and black sneakers with white stripes.
