Giants, Set To Receive Super Bowl Rings, Invite Fans To 'Try On' Virtual Bling

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Three months and two Twitter leaks later, the Giants have unveiled their Super Bowl ring.

The white gold ring, commemorating the team's Super Bowl XLVI win over New England in February, features four Lombardi trophies -- one for each Big Blue title. Speaking of blue, the ring boasts a border of 37 sapphires.

The NFL champions will be presented with the impressive jewelry Wednesday night at Tiffany & Co. in Manhattan, but fans will have first crack at "trying on" the diamond-encrusted bling.

Giants fans can snap a photo and show off their virtual Super Bowl ring to the world with the GoldRun app for iPhone and Android phones. Not a ring person? They've got you covered. There's a Lombardi Trophy option, too.

The ring was designed by Tiffany & Co. with input from Giants ownership, top management and some key players, including quarterback Eli Manning and defensive end Justin Tuck. The winning score is featured on one side, the other will show the player's name and number.

"Finish" and "All In" are engraved inside the ring, a nod to the Giants' rallying cries from last season.

"Stray (former Giant Michael Strahan) talked about the 10 table ring," said Tuck, according to the team's official website. "He wanted a ring you could see from 10 tables away. I talked about the restaurant ring. I wanted one that was big enough to see throughout whatever restaurant you go in and see it from each corner."

The finished product appeared strikingly similar to the photos previously leaked on Twitter by linebacker Clint Sintim and punter Steve Weatherford.
