Suffolk Police Hunt For West Babylon Bank Robbery Suspect

YAPHANK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Suffolk County police are looking for the man responsible for a bank robbery at a HSBC bank branch.

The incident went down in West Babylon.

Suffolk Police say that at around 3:42 p.m. Thursday a man handed a teller a note demanding cash.

The teller gave him some dough and the man took off, heading east through the bank's parking lot toward Little East Neck Road, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s. He's around 5'5"-5'6" with a medium build, police say. He was wearing a grey hoodie, dark plastic sunglasses and blue jeans.
