NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Talk about a triple-double. Sort of.
First for the Metropolitans, three more two-out runs! Mr. Kilimanjaro himself, R.A. Dickey, scaled the mound at PNC Park in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
How high was that? 11 strikeouts high, as in career high.
Put it in the books, Mets win 3-2!
And well, well, well... what do we have here? The Yankes won 3-2, too.
We thought they'd leave another runner in scoring position. But no, no. When push came to shove, it was Kansas City in the ninth inning leaving a runner at third.
How refreshing for Bombers fans!
