Increased Patrols Net 35 DWI Arrests On Long Island
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police in Nassau and Suffolk counties have arrested nearly three-dozen people on drunk driving charges during the first part of Memorial Day Weekend.
Police from both Counties stepped up patrolling efforts to catch offenders over the holiday weekend.
Thus far none of the arrests has been the result of a motor vehicle accident. according to police.
