Family Of Missing Rye Teen Reaches Out

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A family from Rye is desperately trying to find their 15-year-old son. Police in White Plains are asking for the public's help in tracking down Pierce Crowley.

Crowley is a freshman at Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, he was last seen wearing dark jeans, a blue Florida Gators t-shirt, and black sneakers with lime green trim.

Police think that he may have been seen near the White Plains Metro-North Station at 16 Ferris Ave.

He has light brown hair and blue eyes, he wears braces, weighs 150lbs and is 5'10".

His parents Peter and Gretchen said that Pierce was not feeling well and was in a fragile state before leaving for a group therapy session in White Plains.

"People just want him home safely," said Peter.

The family has set up an email account  and a Facebook page where people can submit tips, White Plains police are asking anybody with information to call them at 914-422-6111.
