Woman Pulled From Hudson River Currently In Stable Condition

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Emergency workers responding to a 911 call pulled a 59-year-old woman out of the Hudson River.

Detectives Henry Medina and Darren McNamara entered the water near West 131 Street and aided the woman to the sea wall and out of the water.

"She wasn't really responsive, by the time I got to her she was in distress," said McNamara.

They were helped by Sgt Raymond Smith and Detective Anthony Selvaggi, the woman was taken to Harlem hospital and has been listed in stable condition.
