Report: Child's Clothing Found In Home Of Etan Patz Murder Suspect Pedro Hernandez
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - There are new details now known about the suspect in the 33-year-old disappearance of little Etan Patz, WCBS 880's Marla Diamond reported.

According to New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, Pedro Hernandez confessed to the killing of then 6-year-old Patz in a SoHo deli basement on May 25, 1979.
Law enforcement sources told the New York Post that an old toy and worn clothing that were "age appropriate" for Etan Patz were found in a search of Hernandez's Maple Shade, New Jersey home.
The New York Daily News, however, reported that police don't believe the clothing to have beloned to Patz.
The Post also reported that investigators also seized a computer and papers.
A call to the NYPD seeking comment has not yet been returned.
The NYPD is still trying to obtain physical evidence to corroborate the confession more than two weeks after they arrested Hernandez.
A report in the New York Times said Hernandez signed a photo of the boy during an interrogation and wrote on it "I killed him."
The report that said that, in the absence of physical evidence, that visual evidence may prove compelling to jurors.
Prosecutors don't necessarily need physical evidence to corroborate Hernandez's story: It could be just as simple as the fact that he worked at the store at the time of the boy's disappearance. Still, investigators were working diligently and interviewing Hernandez's family and friends, including a church leader who claimed Hernandez once confessed to him.
Hernandez is being held at Bellevue Hospital.
