If you listened to yesterday’s show, you know that Boomer and Craig were none too pleased with “The” Eddie Scozzare for neglecting to mention either of their names while being interviewed by Neil Best for a Newsday article on the FAN’s 25th anniversary.

In an attempt to make up for this, Eddie gave Bob Mantz of Bob’s Blitz a thorough and emotional account of his favorite WFAN moment: the day it was announced that Boomer & Carton would be the new morning show.

Craig clearly believes Eddie’s comments to be facetious based on the overly enthusiastic language he uses, but Eddie insists that it was sincere. He even claimed to get a little emotional as Craig read his words live on the air.
