"It really was neat getting back together in the studio although we hadn't done anything together in years," Love told Cabot. "Listen to the playback after having done 'That's Why God Made The Radio,' it felt to me like it was 1965 again, at least musically speaking."

Cabot said people have been comparing the new album to the band's 1966 album "Pet Sounds."

"It's not intentional, but it is us and so therefore, there's gonna be something reminiscent of stuff we've done before, like 'California Girls,'" Love said.
