SoHo Nightclub Sues City After Chris Brown, Drake Fight
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The nightclub shut down by police after a celebrity-studded fight is now suing the city.
The Greenhouse in SoHo claims it is losing $264,000 a week since the NYPD closed it on June 16 for code violations.
It happened just two days after a bottle-throwing melee broke out in the club.
Police said the brawl involved R&B singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake's entourage.
Brown and San Anthonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker were among those injured.
Parker has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the club and its operators over a scratched cornea he claims he suffered during the fight.
