Gotham Gossipist: Chris Brown, Drake Reportedly Offered Celebrity Boxing Match To Officially Settle Score

By Kimberly Rae Miller

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The bar brawl between Chris Brown and Drake in a SoHo nightclub two weeks ago  may be the fight that saves Chris Brown's career.

Let's face it, the guy may have a habit of hitting people. According to The New York Daily News one billionaire soda bottling heir, Alki David, thinks he could put those fists to good use.

David reportedly offered Drake and Chris Brown $1 million a piece to fight in a celebrity boxing match.  The public relations saving grace is that he would also write a check for a cool million to charity if they agreed.

The fight would of course be hosted in Vegas and hosted on a pay-per-view station.

Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman said "Obviously they have a grudge. It's just three 1-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt."   Feldman continued to up the ante, suggesting "I would love to have Rihanna as the ring girl."

A representative for Chris Brown said that they had yet to receive any such offer.

The way I see it, if you're going to fight anyway, you may as well do it for a good cause. Plus, you get to wear those spiffy shiny shorts.
