NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — A sobriety checkpoint on Long Island conducted by the Suffolk County Police, New York State Police, and MTA Police netted thirteen arrests on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Twelve people were charged with Driving While Intoxicated, and one man was also charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by the Combined Influence of Drugs and Alcohol, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.READ MORE: Hip-Hop Improv Show 'Freestyle Love Supreme' Returns To Broadway
The individuals charged at the checkpoint will be arraigned on July 14.
