NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Whether you’re in the suburbs or a Hollywood celebrity – it turns out the basic concerns are the same when it comes to raising kids.

For instance, at one recent event, “The Moms” hosted Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of superstar Will Smith and the mother of 2 children who are both rising stars themselves.READ MORE: Overturning Of Mask Mandate In New York State Leads To Confusion On How To Proceed In School Districts
“It’s the conversation about parenting that sort of makes us all really the same,” said Albert. “They might have different things than we do, and they might live different kinds of lives, but the topics we’re talking about to them, like pushing their kids…[Pinkett Smith] says [her kids] really enjoy do enjoy [working]. If your kids are really enjoying what they’re doing, there might not be anything wrong with pushing them a little bit.If you let them quit everything, where are they going to end up?”
“But,” adds Gerstein. “There is a fine line between pushing and being a tiger mom.”
