Tires Slashed, Vehicle Torched In East Meadow Vandalism Spree
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County Police have launched an investigation into a series of tire slashings in East Meadow on Saturday morning.
Residents on Bette Road, Nancy Drive, and Cadillac Drive reported that approximately thirty cars had, had their tires slashed sometime between midnight and 7 a.m.
One car was also set on fire.
Neighbors told 1010 WINS reporter Gary Baumgarten that he believed that the vandal struck in a hasty manner.

No thefts were reported and detectives are currently canvassing the area, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing surveillance footage.
