ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The New York Giants have placed wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and defensive lineman Chris Canty on the physically unable to perform list to start training camp.

Nicks broke his right foot in Organized Team Activities in late May. Coughlin said the starter has not suffered any setbacks, but is not ready to play.
