During last night’s Yankees 12-8 win over the Tigers, Casey McGehee stepped to the plate during the fourth inning and after that John Sterling took over. The decorated Yankees play-by-play man described the play as a swinging strike, a foul and then a ground rule double.
None of those descriptions were accurate and even Sterling’s partner in the Yankees’ radio booth, Suzyn Waldman had a tough time making sense of what Sterling was spewing.
Boomer & Craig took a few minutes to try and break it all down, but had little luck. On a positive note, the Dynamic Radio Duo seemed to have plenty of fun doing so…
