NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Want to add a little extra sizzle to your summer?

The official FDNY 2013 Calendar of Heroes is now for sale.

The calendar is produced annually to raise money for FDNY Foundation which provides safety and fire prevention programs throughout the city.

“The rewards of this official FDNY calendar are seen year round in the thousands of fire safety education events it helps fund and in the historic low number of fire related fatalities it helps this Department achieve,” said Fire Commissioner Salvatore J. Cassano.

The calendar features 13 active FDNY firefighters.

26-year-old Darius Dorsett, of Engine 260 in Long Island City, appears on the cover wearing an open flame-resistant fireman’s jacket and helmet in front of a fire house.

Firefighters featured in the calendar held a signing in Times Square on Monday morning.
