Giants Waive LB Clint Sintim, DE Justin Trattou

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Giants have waived linebacker Clint Sintim after he failed a physical.

The Giants announced the move Thursday while adding they waived-injured defensive end Justin Trattou and signed defensive back-return specialist Laron Scott and defensive tackle Bobby Skinner.

Sintim suffered knee injuries in each of the past two season. The 2009 second-round draft pick has been on the physically unable to perform list.

Trattou, who appeared in six games last season, suffered ankle and heel injuries early in training camp.

Scott was waived by New Orleans on Aug. 6. He had a 67-yard kickoff return in the Hall of Fame game against Arizona the previous night.

Skinner played last season at Montclair State.
