CLAYTON, N.J. (AP) — Neighbors are shaking their heads over a fire in a southern New Jersey town allegedly set by a 15-year-old girl who lived there.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office has charged the teen with arson and attempted murder in the Saturday morning fire that injured her and six other family members.

Neighbors tell The Gloucester County Times that the family seemed friendly though quiet for the most part.

The teen, who isn’t being identified because she is a juvenile, is being held at the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in family court Monday.
