Westchester Brothers Roll Out Toilet Paper Printed With Ads

RYE BROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Two brothers from Westchester are flush with entrepreneurial spirit.

Bryan and Jordan Silverman of Rye Brook started Star Toilet Paper two years ago. The toilet tissue is printed with advertisements and coupon codes that can be read by the user's smartphone.

The brothers told the Journal-News that they expect their line of toilet paper will appear at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library this fall.

Bryan Silverman said their product will succeed because it reaches a captive audience.

The brothers have entered their ad-laden toilet paper in a contest run by Entrepreneur magazine.
