Fantasy Phenom 3: Vote For Your Favorite Finalist!

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- That's a wrap on the third annual Fantasy Phenom finals at Mike Francesa's end of summer bash, and the voting to help decide this year's Fantasy Phenom winner.

Five talented hopefuls had a chance on Friday to impress Francesa, the live crowd at Bar A in Lake Como, N.J., and the voting public. Only one will end up with an on-air shift at WFAN.

Polling was open from 6 .p.m. Friday through noon on Monday, with the grand prize winner to be announced this week.

James Buzzone

James Buzzone from Jersey City, NJ

James is a New Jersey native, raised in Edison and currently residing in Jersey City. As a rabid New York sports fan, he took his talents to Division II as a point guard at the University of Bridgeport, where a leg injury shortened his career.

James completed his education at Montclair State University, where he met his future wife and earned a degree in political science. For the past 11 years, James has made a living selling business software; however, his true passion is found in debating the sports issues of the day.

James is out to fulfill his dream of going from caller to host on the FAN.

Dan Girard

Dan Girard from Great Neck, NY

Dan is a 2012 graduate of Syracuse University. While at SU, he served as the assistant sports director at WJPZ-Z89; as a talk show host at WAER; and as a host/analyst at CitrusTV.

He grew up in both Forest Hills and Great Neck, listening regularly to Mets games on the FAN. He cites his first memories of WFAN as a 4-year-old listening to the '94 playoffs of both the Rangers and the Knicks.

Dan considers himself a diehard Mets, Jets, Rangers and Knicks fan, but prides himself on keeping track of everything New York sports.

Patrick Creighton

Patrick Creighton from Bethpage, NY

Patrick is making his third consecutive appearance in the WFAN Fantasy Phenom finals.

Patrick is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and currently attends LIU Post. He has hosted a sports talk show on WCWP at LIU Post for the past three years, and is the play-by-play voice for Post football, basketball, baseball and softball. Patrick is the co-host of "The Opening Drive" on AM1100 WWWE in Atlanta, and is the PA Announcer for the Brooklyn Knights of the Premier Development League.

Patrick is a fan of the Giants, Mets, Islanders and Knicks.

James Flippin

James Flippin from Montclair, NJ

James, a budding radio personality and producer, has plied his craft by hosting several original podcasts over the past two years.

A 2010 graduate from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, James has worked for WGHT Radio, and continues to work as a part-time board operator at SiriusXM in Manhattan.

Most recently, James was the color commentator for the Newark Bears' broadcasts on MTRradio.com. James is thrilled to be a Fantasy Phenom finalist and lists WFAN's Steve "The Schmoozer" Somers as one of his greatest influences.

Joe Giglio

Joseph Giglio from Howell, NJ

No stranger to working in radio, Joe is a current freelance sports writer and lifetime WFAN listener.

He graduated from DeSales University in 2008 with a degree in sports management.

A lifelong baseball fan, Joe continues to pursue his goal of landing a full-time career in the sports industry.
