Operators Of Brooklyn Daycare Center Charged In Connection With Death Of Child

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A woman and her daughter who run a  Brooklyn daycare center were in custody on Saturday morning after the death of a four-year-old in Florida.

The NYPD arrested Cecily Roberts and her daughter, Camille Gordon, on Friday morning. They operate the L.R. Academy in Flatbush, which has been licensed by the city's Department of Health since March of 2010.

Roberts and Gordon are two of three women charged in connection with the death of the four-year old.

He died after police in Florida said he was left in a locked SUV for two-and-a-half hours on August 1.
