Yankees, Mets Postponed Due To Weather; Bombers To Play Double-Dip Wednesday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Tuesday night's Yankees game against the Blue Jays has been postponed due to inclement weather that's expected to pass through the area.

As a result, the two teams will play a day-night, separate-admission doubleheader at Yankee Stadium beginning on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m.

Andy Pettitte will pitch the afternoon game and David Phelps will take the hill in the nightcap.

The Mets-Phillies game scheduled for Tuesday night at Citi Field has also been postponed. New York will make up the game on Thursday at 7:10 p.m.

Matt Harvey will pitch on Wednesday for the Amazin's and Jeremy Hefner will take the ball on Thursday.

The Mets lost the opener of their series with the division-rival Phillies, 3-1, on Monday.
