NYPD Releases New Photo Of Suspect Wanted For 15 Car Fires In Upper Manhattan

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has released a new photo of the man suspected of torching 15 cars in Upper Manhattan.

The fires were set on Sept 11 over eleven blocks in Hamilton Heights and Harlem. Some of the fires happened in the area of 150th Street and Bradhurst Avenue while one happened a few blocks from Central Park.

The vehicles that were burned included a BMW sedan, a Land Rover, an Audi sedan, a Nissan Altima, a Ford Mustang, a Toyota wagon, two minivans and a Honda Pilot, among others.

The suspect is described as being a bald, dark-skinned male who was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a light blue drawstring backpack.
