Reggie Bush On Revis Injury: 'What Goes Around Comes Around'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It seems Dolphins running back Reggie Bush doesn't feel sorry for the Jets, who lost Darrelle Revis to a season-ending ACL tear on Sunday.

"It's like the old saying, 'What goes around comes around,' " Bush told "The Paul and Young Ron Show" in South Florida on Tuesday.

Bush was upset about pregame comments made by head coach Rex Ryan and others about stopping Miami's dynamic rusher.

Bush injured his left knee in the closing seconds of the first half of Sunday's game and didn't return. He said MRI results showed "just a bruise."

"They talked about all week about putting hot sauce and this and that, and they ended up losing their best player for the rest of the season," said Bush. "So, it's sad that it happened because of that, but I'm going to be back."

Linebacker Calvin Pace said after New York's 23-20 win that the Jets "had to put him on out."

Pace clarified his statement on Monday.

"I wasn't trying to say it as if we were trying to hurt him," said Pace. "I'm sad to see him get hurt. We aren't running any kind of bounty system or anything like that, and actually, looking at the play, somebody just fell on his knee. That's all I have to say. I guess I need to say things in a different manner, and I'll do a better job of it next time."
