Police: Money, Phones Stolen From Locker Room At L.I. School During Homecoming Celebration

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a locker room break-in at a high school on Long Island.

Police said someone went into 16 lockers at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale and stole money, eight cellphones, school identification and personal papers.

The thefts occurred Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. during the school's homecoming celebration, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
