Catching Up With 'Wonder Woman' Lynda Carter

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A pop culture icon, Lynda Carter is best known for playing Wonder Woman back in the seventies.

But she also has quite the singing voice. In fact, this Friday, she'll be performing at B.B. Kings Bar and Grill in Times Square.

When asked whether she prefers acting to singing, Carter says she cannot chose which one she likes better.

"They're so very different, it's all part of the same creative process. I love the live performance in singing," she said. "In film, it's really a delayed gratification."

Her most recent album, "Crazy Little Things," includes some great covers, including a country music version of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." As it turns out, most of Carter's band - there are 9 of them on stage - hail from Nashville, the country music hub.
