FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Jets have placed linebacker Josh Mauga on season-ending injured reserve with a torn pectoral muscle, and signed veteran defensive lineman Daniel Muir.

Muir joins the Jets after spending training camp with Green Bay. He was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State in 2007 and played in three games as a rookie. He then played four seasons for the Indianapolis Colts.
